Illium has chosen Chris Ashmead to head its service company's expansion in London and the South-East.
Ashmead, who has left Axa to join Illium, commented: “I know from my experience in the area that brokers want to be able to access Lloyd's products directly. Joining Illium is a great opportunity to give them a highly efficient and cost effective route with excellent service.”
In his new role, Ashmead will concentrate on building the managing agency's business with the regional offices of national brokers.
