Atrium has appointed Syndicate 609 marine hull underwriter Simon Cooper to the managing agency board of directors.
Atrium said this was a new appointment to the board, and reflected the role Cooper plays within the syndicate and Atrium as a whole.
The company said its two syndicates, 570 and 609 have both grown substantial y since 2002. Atrium now employs more than 75 staff.
Cooper joined the company in 1984. He was deputy chairman of the LMA's Joint Hull Committee between 2000 and 2002.
