Agency Underwriting Limited (AUL) has announced it is taking on more staff following the expansion of its head office in Colchester.
Four members of staff have been recruited to the expanding property insurance division.
Sally Mallett and Janice Ferguson join the underwriting team while Gaynor Exley has been taken on to deal with property claims and Helen Davy has joined the administration department.
Managing director Richard Lamberth commented: "We are pleased to welcome Sally, Janice, Gaynor and Helen at such an exciting time. The expansion is great news for this company and for the local economy, particularly at a time when many larger insurers are announcing wholesale redundancies."
