Insurance giant Aviva has appointed two new independent non-executive directors, Anna Catalano and Carole Piwnica.
Catalano is currently group vice president marketing of BP while Piwnica is non-executive vice chairman, government affairs, at Tate & Lyle.
Aviva chairman Pehr Gyllenhammar said: "Our new directors will bring new knowledge, experience and diversity to our Board.
"The recruitment of Mrs Catalano and Ms Piwnica is an important step in making the Aviva Board truly international."
