Aviva has appointed two new non-executive directors, Russell Walls and Richard Goeltz.
The appointments will come into effect from 3 May 2004, said the insurer.
Walls is a non-executive director of the Signet Group, and the senior non-executive director of the Stagecoach Group.
Before his retirement in 2002 he was group finance director of BAA and prior to that had been group finance director of Wellcome and Coats Viyella.
Goeltz is currently a non-executive director of the Warnaco Group Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation and New Germany Fund.
During his career he has served as chief financial officer of the NatWest Group, American Express Company and The Seagram Company.
