AXA has appointed Gary Stott as commercial distribution director at AXA Insurance.
Stott will focus on the growth of AXA Insurance's commercial business proposition.
The company said he will be responsible for building relationships with key accounts and developing business lines as well as implementing AXA's underwriting policy in the commercial market.
Stott has operated in a variety of senior operational management and sales and marketing roles for Sedgwick and Aon.
Mark Cliff, distribution director said: "He will give us a much stronger understanding of broker thinking and the challenges they face. This will be key to achieving our ambition to be the leading player in the SME and other markets.”
