Insurance workers may be forgiven for thinking there has been a massive dotcom crash when IT bosses take to their sleeping bags in London's Finsbury Square on Friday.

The open-air sleep out is being held to raise money for NCH Action for Children, a youth homelessness charity.

One of those set to “rough it” is Conor Callanan, managing director of City IT provider Core. He said sleeping out in the cold for one night is a small price to pay for a cause as worthy as youth homelessness.

Last year's event raised £200,000.
