Heath Lambert has appointed Steve Bartlett to head up the wholesale division of Heath Lambert Insurance Services.
Based in Horsham, the division specialises in providing insurance schemes to mortgage lenders, currently placing and administering Household Block, Mortgage Indemnity and Payment Protection products to more than 45 building societies, banks and central lenders.
Bartlett joined the company in 1995 as marketing director, moving from Orion Insurance in Folkestone.
Heath Lambert Insurance Services managing director Paul Smith, said: “Steve's new position reflects the significant growth we have seen in our wholesale operations.
“Financial institutions are increasingly looking to enhance their insurance earnings by selling a much broader range of products.
“Steve and his team are complementing the traditional block approach with individual policy initiatives, which are being well received by our clients and the markets.”
