Beazely appoints Marsh vice chair as non-exec

Dan Jones has joined Beazley as an independent non-executive director.

Jones' appointment will take effect from the beginning of July.

A source close to Beazley said Jones represented a "very significant hire" for the insurer, as he has been "at the forefront of the industry for many years."

He has worked at Johnson & Higgins and Marsh Incorporated, where he is currently vice chairman. Jones will retire from Marsh in June.

Beazley's chief executive, Andrew Beazley, said: “Dan has extensive knowledge and experience in the insurance industry and an impressive record of senior management positions.”
