Beazley has announced the appointment of Peter Jenkins and Marc Werblow to the political risks underwriting team.

Peter Jenkins has spent the past eight years working for AIG's global trade and political risks team in both New York and London.

Marc Werblow has worked on commodity and structured finance risk since 1990 for Fortis Bank, WestLB and, most recently for The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi (UFJ Bank).

Adrian Lewers, head of political and contingency group, said: “With Marc and Peter on board we look forward to further developing our overall product offering for the market, particularly as we get ready for the next phase in the growth of the business.”
