The former head of legal at Benfield Group, Tim Burton, has become national head of Insurance and Reinsurance at UK law firm Pinsent Curtis Biddle. He will also head Pinsents' London Insurance and Reinsurance Group.
In a statement the firm said: "Tim's appointment is the latest significant step in the refocusing of Pinsents' national Insurance and Reinsurance practice, which is rapidly developing into one of the leading in the country."
The insurance and reinsurance team now comprises 36 lawyers and provides a wide range of services to the insurance and reinsurance industries.
