Benfield has announced the appointment of Angela A'Zary as senior vice president in its Property Specialty team.
A'Zary was previously a managing director at Guy Carpenter where she led a team of actuaries and catastrophe modellers, and worked with the company's retrocession specialty and property specialty groups.
Paul Karon, chief executive of Benfield's US Division, said: “Ms A'Zary will be a valuable asset in analyzing, packaging and presenting our clients' risks to the markets.”
