Global insurance solutions specialist Sherwood International has appointed Steven Bessellieu as President of North American operations.
Bessellieu was formerly senior vice president and a member of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's global financial services executive board in New York. He was responsible for the strategy, development and deployment of all financial services solutions worldwide.
Bessellieu will replace Mike Dropkin, who will now oversee Sherwood's business plan in the area of product, alliances and industry consultants positioning.
Sherwood International was founded in 1970 and provides software and solutions to the global financial services industries and UK government sectors. It is quoted on the London Stock Exchange.
