International law firm Barlow Lyde & Gilbert as strengthened its Shipping and International Trade team by appointing Tim Taylor and Patrick Foss from Hill Taylor Dickinson's Insurance and Reinsurance Group.

International law firm Barlow Lyde & Gilbert as strengthened its Shipping and International Trade team by appointing Tim Taylor and Patrick Foss.

Previously Taylor and Foss worked at Hill Taylor Dickinson's Insurance and Reinsurance Group. Both partners are highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories.

Partner Nigel Wagland, head of the shipping and international trade team said: "This is a long sought after development for BLG. The move will have an immediate impact upon our market presence, and consolidate BLG's position as a major player in marine and energy insurance and reinsurance.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
