A management shake-up at XL has led to major board changes.
XL FP&S division chief executive Robert Lusardi will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue personal interests, the company said.
XL Financial Solutions president Paul Giordano will replace Lusardi.
XL's new general counsel will be Charles F. Barr, who joined the insurer in 2002 as general counsel to XL America.
Associate general counsel Kirstin Gould will assume the role of chief corporate legal officer and secretary of the company in addition to her existing responsibilities.
