In a shake-up of its marketing organisation, the AA has announced that Andrew Briscoe, managing director of AA Insurance Services, will be leaving the organisation with effect from 1 January 2004.

Briscoe, who had been in the role for two years, said he had decided to leave the Centrica Group, having considered a number of alternative roles.

The role of managing director for AA Insurance Services will disappear as a result of organisational changes, said the company.

It said the organisational changes followed the creation of its Customer Services Directorate (CSD) in the early autumn, headed by former Scottish Widows marketing director Simon Skinner.

Clare Salmon, currently AA marketing and sales director, will become managing director of financial services, incorporating the AA's insurance and lending businesses.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
