Brit Insurance has appointed Peter Burrows as UK underwriting centre director.
Burrows will also join Brit's Executive Management Committee.
He was previously managing director at Zurich UK Commercial. Prior to this, he spent over twenty years at Royal & Sun Alliance.
Dane Douetil, Brit group chief executive officer, said: "He will take our UK business on to the next stage of its development and we are delighted to welcome him to Brit."
