Nigel Bennett and Neil Sharman have been appointed to new roles at Brit Insurance.

Bennett is the insurer's new chief investment officer, while Sharman is head of group tax.

Bennett has a wealth of experience, having previously worked for Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro, while Sharman's background includes stints at HSBC, Barclays and Deloitte.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
