Two new non-executive directors have been appointed to the board of Brit Insurance Holdings.
Peter Hazell, whose appointment will take effect on 1 April, is chairman of Argent Group and a member of the Competition Commission. Hazell is a non-executive director of UK Coal and chairman of its audit committee, said Brit.
Hazell will be joining Brit’s audit committee, said the company.
Michael Smith took up his post as non-executive director on 8 March. Smith is a former senior partner of law firm Titmuss Sainer & Webb. He is currently a non-executive director of Randall Quilter and Cavell.
