Brit has appointed Simon England as regional development underwriter for the North East region.
England joins Brit after seven years at Chubb, where he was most recently manager of the financial lines division, acting as the main contact between over 50 brokers and Chubb's underwriters, as well as developing its client base and servicing existing clients.
In his new role, England will continue to focus on his core expertise in financial lines underwriting while assisting regional manager, David Kelly in implementing development plans for the North East region as a whole.
Peter Burrows, head of Brit's UK division, commented: “Simon has broad-based underwriting experience and outstanding relationships with the broking community. His appointment further demonstrates our total commitment to strengthening relationships with professional brokers in the regional market and I am delighted to welcome him on board.”
