Acquisition takes Colmore headcount to 18
Colmore Insurance Brokers has bought Birmingham-based firm Webb Holton Insurance Brokers.
The acquisition will take the total number of staff at Colmore to 18.
Webb Holton has a mix of both commercial and high net worth personal clients.
Colmore director Andy Smallwood said: “We met with the Webb Holton team and built up a really good relationship and understanding of their business from day one. We worked together in an ‘old fashioned’ way to build a deal that is great for clients, staff and the brand of Webb Holton.”
Webb Holton director Nigel Lister added: “We spent a great deal of time looking for the right partner to secure the future of the Webb Holton business.
“After spending time with Colmore team, we could see the synergy between the two firms and knew that they were the right choice. We have been very impressed with their approach to the deal and we have formed a partnership that puts our clients and staff in very good hands.”
