Ian Henderson has been promoted to the position of manager of Ecclesiastical Direct Personal Lines. He has spent the past ten years as general business marketing officer. He said: "Ecclesiastical Direct has a commitment to customer service, teamwork and getting the job done while keeping the work enjoyable. That's my philosophy too."

Direct Line
Direct Line has appointed Mark Godfrey as its first e-commerce director of marketing. He will become part of the company's e-leadership team and will be responsible for the strategic planning of marketing activities.

Warren Hill
John Shill has been appointed South East regional manager at commercial lines broker Warren Hill. He joins from a senior role at CGU, and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Road Runner
Jill Muncey has been promoted from underwriting manager to operations manager. She will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the company. Also, Patricia Sauer joins the company as marketing manager.

Hiscox
Adrian Saunders has been appointed commercial lines manager for Hiscox based at its Harrogate office. He will be responsible for the development and underwriting of the company's commercial business in the North.

Chambers & Newman
David Burdett has been appointed director of Chambers & Newman effective as of the beginning of the year.

CNA
CNA Insurance Company (Europe) has appointed Martin Duffield as regional underwriting manager at its Birmingham office. He will assume control of its scheme and non-scheme business throughout the Midlands.

The Bollington Group
Andrew Jones has joined the financial services arm of the Bollington Group. An experienced adviser, he will be responsible for providing advice to corporate and and personal clients, particularly in the area of pension planning.

BRIT
Ken Culley has been appointed non-executive director of Brit Insurance Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brit Holdings PLC. Previously chief executive of Portman Building Society, he has extensive knowledge of the financial services sector.

LLOYD'S
Crowe
Tim Peckett has been appointed as Lloyd's managing agent Crowe Insurance Group's first in-house counsel. His responsibilties include handling the group's corporate legal matters and legal aspects of syndicate business. Richard Murphy, Crowe managing director, said: "He brings extensive knowledge and experience of the complex legal environment within Lloyd's. As in-house counsel, he will be in an excellent position to provide our management team with instant advice."

Mark Oldham, Gordon Ross, Alan Thomas and Robert Thompson have been appointed loss adjusters by PCS at the Chelmsford, Glasgow and Bristol offices respectively. Also, Oliver Coffman, Caroline Merifield, Stella Flowdy and Sean Gabri have been appointed adjusters.
