Nigel Fisher has been appointed sales director of Arnold Fisher Insurance Services and will be responsible for corporate business development. He was previously employed as senior account manager with Axa.

Grenville Coakes has been appointed to head the property and construction division of Fidelis Insurance Group. He has also been promoted to associate director.

Franklands
Paul Brown has been appointed corporate risks executive at commercial insurance brokers PJ Frankland, based in Derby. He joins from Nelson Hurst where he was a director based in the town. He has spent the past six months working with a number of national companies on risk management capacity.

Camberford
Gaynor Anderton has been appointed marketing co-ordinator by brokers Camberford Law. She was previously an account executive with Axa. She will be responsible for marketing the broker's various schemes to its list of some 2,500 intermediaries.

Frank Murphy has been appointed board director at Thompson Heath and Bond. He joins from Lloyd's broker Arthur J Gallagher, where he worked for 13 years.

Rebecca Tween has been appointed regional underwriter at St Paul International Insurance, based in the South East. She has been with St Paul since 1996 and specialises in underwriting construction.

Simon Clegg has been appointed to AEGIS Energy Syndicate 1225. He was recently an energy and engineering underwriter at Wellington and before that deputy underwriter for the Duman Syndicate and engineering manager for Swiss Re. Robert Woods is also joining the syndicate. He was formerly a director of Sedgwick Capital, where he was responsible for broking co-ordination for all international property business in the London and overseas market. Both will head onshore property for the AEGIS Syndicate. Matthew Newman is also joining the syndicate. He was previously deputy underwriter with HH Syndicate 1688.

Berrymans Lace Mawer
Christine Saunders has been appointed a partner at Berrymans Lace Mawer, specialising in personal injury litigation. Also appointed partners are Stephen Walsh and Jennette Newman, who will both work in personal injury and industrial disease work. Lawrence Old has also been made a partner working in the Leeds office, having been with the firm since 1996 as a public liability, personal injury and industrial disease specialist.

Hill Dickinson
Ira Harris has been appointed to the yachting team at marine law firm Hill Dickinson. She was previously with Partridge and Wilson of Suffolk, where she specialised in PI and contractual disputes. Also joining the yachting team is Barnaby Wright, who was previously with Osborne Clarke.

Andrew Wadling has been appointed to Eurobase Systems as head of the depth study team. He will be responsible for analysing customer requirements and turning them into implementation and development plans for Synergy, the firm's application server underwriting system. He was previously with Rebus.

Scott Robinson has been appointed business development manager at ServiceMaster. He was previously with Property & Casualty Services after holding positions with Crawford THG, Provincial Insurance and Zurich Insurance.

Keith Longthorne has been appointed partnerships director of Countrywide Insurance Marketing, where he will be responsible for the firm's partnership programme with insurance companies.

Audatex
Mike Williams has been appointed as a business analyst at Audatex, where he will focus on product enhancement. Williams is originally from Washington DC and previously worked with Rover, Peugeot and Jaguar.

Hays
Andrew Hammond has been appointed manager of the general insurance search division for Hays Inter-Selection, City & Home Counties. Hammond was previously with Mansion House Executive as a senior consultant. Before that, he spent 15 years in the London broker market, specialising in professional indemnity business.
