Capita Insurance Services said it has made two senior appointments to its claims services operations.
Jason Richards has been appointed as claims services director and Jeremy Owenson has been appointed business implementation director.
Capita said the appointments followed the formation of its partnership with SAP, which would see a new IT platform implemented during 2004 for its claims processing operations.
Richards' responsibilities would include overseeing Capita's claims services division, including the recently created building services operation, said Capita. Prior to joining the company, Richards was managing director of RAC financial services.
Owenson would have responsibility for implementing new business models to combine with the SAP IT platform, said Capita, with particular focus on working with the company's existing clients.
Owenson's previous positions include senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as senior positions at Zurich Insurance and Eagle Star.
