Petplan is rewarding its 500,000th client by insuring her cat for free, for life.
Alison MacRae from West Lothian, Scotland, is receiving free insurance for her cat, Abbie, on her choice of cover – the Scottish Monthly Budget policy.
While the number of telephone sales still overtakes internet sales Petplan has seen its internet business grow rapidly over the past 12 months. Internet sales have grown to between 400 and 500 policies a month.
The number of weekly user sessions has increased by more than 500% – to just over 3,300 between June 1999 and June 2000. Visitors to the site can also take advantage of a first month free offer”.
