Lloyd's insurer Chaucer Holdings has appointed Robert George as projects manager, Roy Alexander as IT director for Chaucer Syndicates and Andrew Burgess, 34, as group human resources manager and HR director for Syndicate 587.
The projects manager role is a new one and is intended to help facilitate the group's £100m increase in capacity (to £486m) for 2002. George, 36, has worked for Coopers & Lybrand, Zurich Re and B&W Deloitte.
Alexander ,41, has been promoted from head of IT of Chaucer Syndicates. He now joins the board.
