The number of candidates graduating in the Chartered Insurance Institute's diploma and advanced diploma in insurance is the highest for seven examination sessions, it said.
In October 2001, 116 candidates completed the advanced diploma compared with 216 in October 2004.
The diploma (Dip CII) completions rose to 306, up from 109 seven sessions ago.
