The CII has developed a new course designed for professionals who have not completed an MBA.

The course, which has been dubbed ‘MBA in a day', is geared towards insurance and financial services professionals.

Tamsin Mills, CII director of training, said: “This course is not for the faint hearted! We promise an intense and exhausting day and intend that delegates will discover previously unknown skills and aptitudes. But the rewards will make it all worthwhile as we will inspire the delegates and provide them with the tools and attitudes to perform much more effectively when they return to their workplace.”

The one day programme will cover:
• Strategy and Analysis
• Marketing and Implementation
• Differentiation and Branding
• Business Development and Account Management
• Leadership and Influence
• Cash Flow, Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Operations Management
• Change Management and Mergers.

Mills added: “We intend to challenge delegates intellectually as well as strengthening general management skills. The whole day is unique in that it is specifically related to the financial services and insurance industries.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
