The CII and Biba have announced their autumn 2006 regional training programme. The training modules, which are geared towards brokers and insurers, will cover:

• Broking advice skills
• Client money
• ICOB
• Liability
• Property
• Business interruption
• Contractors
• Essential supervisory skills for brokers.

The programme will start at the end of September and will tour Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ipswich, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Norwich, Perth and Cardiff.

Tamsin Mills, CII director of training services, said: "We are very pleased to continue the training partnership with Biba. It means we are able to offer CII and Biba broker members a cost effective relevant and comprehensive regional training programme, providing access to technical and business skills training at appropriate levels. This will help boost standards in the sector and provide business benefits to those organisations who enrol their people on the programme."
