Claimline is launching an aggressive bid to become the leading company in the personal injury claims management market over the next two years.

It is to spend more than £500,000 a month on a television campaign, including adverts on Sky and Carlton. A multi-million pound marketing campaign is to follow early next year.

Claimline's managing director, Laurence Carr said: "Our service is the only true no-cost service."

Carr said companies like Claims Direct played down the fact that claimants needed to take out a loan of up to £1,300 to cover after the event insurance premiums.

Carr said Claimline had the backing of a number of household names to assist its expansion.

"We have secured substantial funding that will enable us to treble in size this year. A number of interested investors have approached us, identifying Claimline as the most likely contender to overtake the our competitors," he said.
