Neil Clutterbuck has been promoted to the position of director of engineering at Allianz Cornhill as a replacement for Alan Harris, who is set to retire at the end of the year.

Clutterbuck has been at the insurer for three years as a regional manager. In his new role, he will develop Allianz Cornhill's inspection and insurance business.

Chris Hanks, general manager, Allianz Cornhill Commercial, commented: "Neil has a track record of building businesses and developing people and I am certain that A.C.E. will have a very strong future under his leadership."

Clutterbuck said: "Allianz Cornhill Engineering is a hugely successful business with outstanding financial results and record growth. I'm looking forward to the challenge of maintaining and building upon the excellent work that has already been done."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
