Michael Tait has been appointed executive chairman by claims provider CMGL.

Tait has left his role as Europe-Africa vice-president and general manager of Unisys to join CMGL in the new role, which replaces the role of non-executive chairman held by Cees Schrauwers for the past year.

Jerry McArthur, managing director of CMGL, said: “Michael has an excellent track record of working with management teams to help them grow their businesses. His experience is ideally suited to CMGL's entrepreneurial approach and we welcome him to the company.

“We thank Cees for his service to CMGL. His commitment, guidance and leadership have been invaluable during our first twelve months of independence.”
