CMGL has appointed Cees Schrauwers as non-executive chairman.
Schrauwers was previously managing director of Aviva International from 2000 to 2004 and managing director of CGU Insurance UK from 1998 to 2000.
Prior to this, Schrauwers held a number of senior positions at Commercial Union in both the general insurance and life sectors. He also established Coopers & Lybrand Insurance Services.
Schrauwers is currently chairman of Alio, Drive Asset UK and a NED of Brit Insurance.
He has held various non- executive positions in the insurance industry, including Munich Re UK and Canopius Managing Agents.
