Honeymoon couples are being wooed by free cover for weddings abroad when they book travel insurance with Columbus Direct.
The wedding cover guards against loss, theft or damage to the couple's wedding outfits up to £1,000, with further cover for rings, gifts and videos or photographs.
Another benefit is free kennel and cattery cost cover, which enables policyholders to reclaim pet lodging costs up to £500 if their return journey is delayed. They can also reclaim vet fees up to £250.
Columbus has also launched top-up cover for sports equipment costing an additional ten per cent of payable premium.
The firm is planning further targeted cover including business and caravanning options.
