The Legal 500 firm, founded in 1996 by Bruce Corrie, currently employs 225 staff in York, as well as an office of 40 in Glasgow.

It said the new office would provide room for expansion up to 325 staff.

Director Tim Murden said: “The move represents the confidence we have in the future of our business. The move will give us room to grow our business and will also improve communications and exchange of ideas.

Corries’ major clients include Marks and Spencer, Budget Insurance, AILS Group, Drive Assist and Albany ULR.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
