The network looks to strengthen its insurer partnerships

Countrywide has appointed Tim Rogers as insurer relations director. Tim has worked for Countrywide for the last 10 years. Prior to his appointment he held the position of broker services manager with responsibility for Countrywide’s business development team.

As part of his new role, Tim has been heavily involved in the new Countrywide Plus proposition which was revealed to the market in September. This includes a number of new insurer partnerships.

Tim said: “Heading up the Countrywide business development function for the last two years has given me a clear understanding of both the type of offering and level of service our customers expect.

“The Countrywide membership base has been extremely loyal over the years with more than 65% having been members for 10 or more years! Countrywide Plus will further strengthen our relationship with our brokers, as we are delivering a solution tailored to their needs. The insurer deals we have agreed are highly attractive, and combined with the wide range of support services on offer, will have a very positive impact on their businesses – helping them achieve growth, whilst retaining their independence.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
