The Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) has elected a senior partner from law firm Crutes as president.
Tim Wallis, who has been with Crutes since 1976, was previously FOIL's vice-president. At present, Wallis is a member of The Civil Justice Council's Funding and ADR subcommittees and of the Law Society's ADR working party.
He is a former member of The Civil Justice Council and the Law Society's Litigation Committee.
Wallis specialises in civil litigation, particularly personal injury litigation, as well as professional indemnity, employment and commercial litigation.
FOIL was established in 1992 by a group of insurance solicitors to provide a platform for lawyers acting on behalf of insurance companies.
