Audatex's new mobile damage estimating system Audalmage has been credited with speeding up the motor claims handling process.

Dixon Car Clinics, which is test-piloting the system, a keypad version of AudaWorkstation, said its main benefit is to allow estimates to be taken at the scene of accidents.

This is important, it claims, because insurers need to quickly know whether a vehicle is a write-off or is only slightly damaged. AudaWorkstation and Audalmage is in place in all 10 of Dixon Car Clinics which serves south and west Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, parts of Lincolnshire and in surrounding coastal areas.
