Deloitte Consulting has appointed Louis Jordan as head of its Global Insurance practice.
Jordan will be responsible for Deloitte's global consultancy activities in the insurance market, overseeing work with major financial services clients.
The former head of the European Insurance practice, Jordan will become involved in client work across Deloitte Consulting's global insurance sector client base.
A major objective will be to develop Deloitte Consulting's outsourcing and building offshore capabilities, in a bid to develop a world-class practice will .
Global Financial Services Leader Jack Witlin said: "Since joining Deloitte Consulting Louis has further strengthened and developed our European insurance practice.
"With his new global responsibilities, Louis will play an even greater role as we continue to build our business operations and extend our team of industry specialists," he added.
Jordan has been at Deloitte Consulting since early 2001. Previously he worked with KPMG.
Deloitte Consulting will soon become known as Braxton, upon its separation from DTT.
