Companies are increasingly offering their employees dental health cover, as up to 12 million working days are lost each year due to dental treatment, claims National Dental Plan.
It estimates this lost production costs the UK economy more than £754m each year.
National Dental Plan said lack of money was the main reason why employees delayed necessary dental treatment.
But managing director John Arthur, said dental insurance was becoming an increasingly important part of many companies employee benefit packages.
