Eastgate Assistance is to chair the steering committee of a new call centre training project in Colchester. This will be a joint venture between the local borough council and call centre businesses in the area.

The Colchester Call Centre Business School is intended specifically to improve job opportunities within the borough, in a bid to help the unemployed return to work.

Eastgate Assistance, one of the many businesses in the Colchester area supporting the project, will be actively involved in the further development of courses. These will be aimed at providing local people with new customer

service skills and to support the development of career opportunities in insurance call centres.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
