Equity Red Star, the Lloyd's underwriting business, has announced that it will join the insurer panel of Leaseguard, the broker for let properties, for the underwriting of buildings and contents policies.
Equity will take over one of Leaseguard's existing portfolios.
Chris Knight, Leaseguard's general manager said: “We are very pleased to be working with the Equity Insurance Group and recognise their experience and appetite to work with us to deliver competitive products for our agents and the letting market.”
Stuart Heath, household underwriter at Equity Red Star said: “We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship as we seek to expand our household offering through the broker network.”
