Lincoln could join former Cobra man Truman at FSJ

Former Cobra Networks managing director John Lincoln is set for a new role at Giles, Insurance Times understands.

Lincoln, who was also Cobra London Markets executive director, resigned in August alongside Cobra Insurance Brokers managing director Mark Zandler.

Lincoln, currently on gardening leave, could join Cobra Broking development director Dave Truman at FSJ. Truman became FSJ development director in late August.

In July, Cobra shareholders accepted a £7.3m offer from chief executive Steve Burrows to buy the business.

Cobra is being delisted from the AIM market and a number of directors are stepping down.

Lincoln could not be reached for comment. Giles declined to comment.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
