Fineos Corporation is to supply Fortis Inc with its multi-channel intake and claims management system, Fineos Disability.
They will provide Fortis with a 500-seat allocation for the solution. They believe it will help Fortis improve the efficiency and quality of its claims management. They also predict that the system will enable Fortis to reduce its spend on disability claims management by 10%.
Project Manager at Fortis Benefits Mary Anne Brazeal said: "We felt that Fineos was the company that possessed the deepest understanding of the disability claims market and was therefore the most equipped to meet our needs."
The Chief Executive Officer of Fineos, Michael Kelly, said the sale was a landmark for the company.
The system will go live in June 2002.
