The CII said the first candidates to sit examinations under the new qualifications framework have now received their results, with 926 out of 1,204 (77%) of candidates passing.
CII qualifications director Lucy Courtenay said: "Since announcing the new flexible framework last September our team has been working closely with candidates to help them attain these new industry qualifications.
"926 successful entrants from the first sitting is an excellent result and provides us with a solid base from which to build candidate numbers and further enhance pass rates."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
