Founder of Aon Re Special Risks, James Barder, has joined the board of underwriting agency, Loss Recovery Group (LRG).
The LRG, which offers a policy to cover the costs of loss adjusters' fees, has appointed Barder as an executive director.
Barder will advise LRG on finance and corporate governance for the business.
Malcolm Harvey, Managing Director of LRG said: "James will provide LRG with a vital understanding of the investment market and the opportunities it will offer us going forward.
"He has first-had experience of funding and building insurance businesses which will enable LRG to achieve our business growth and development targets quickly and efficiently."
