Wellington Underwriting has appointed former Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) group finance director Julian Hance as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 August 2004.
Hance will also chair the company's audit committee.
Hance, a chartered accountant, was R&SA's group finance director between 1998 and 2004, when he retired.
Wellington chairman John Barton, said: "We are delighted that Julian Hance has agreed to join us. He brings a wealth of financial, corporate and technical knowledge which will be of very considerable benefit to the board and the Wellington Group”
