Fortis has nominated four new non-executive directors to join its board at a shareholder meeting.
The appointments will be voted on at a shareholder meeting on 26 May 2004.
The move follows the decision of non-executive director Jaap Glasz to stand down due to health problems.
The four nominated non-executive directors are: Richard Delbridge, former chief financial officer and director of NatWest bank; Jacques Manardo, former Deloitte & Touche global managing partner for strategic clients; Ronald Sandler, member of the Financial Capability Steering Group of the FSA and deputy president of the Institute of Financial Services; and Rana Talwar founder of private equity business Sabre Capital Worldwide.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
