Is it such a bananas idea for a motor broker's wife to come up with a solution to save fruit getting battered and bruised?

Paige Allen, the wife of motor broker Allen&Allen's chief executive, Tony Allen, will be finding out as she pitches her idea on television show Dragon's Den, which is due to be aired this year.

She will be facing the dragons (elite business entrepreneurs) in a bid to secure investment finance for her Fruity Faces, which are already available to buy.

Maybe this will be the start of things to come in the insurance market - Fruity Faces in "car size" - designed for motorists with a high claims frequency?

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
