It was announced today that Michael Slack and Karin Forseke have been appointed non-executive directors of the FSA.
Slack, the founder and chairman of the Association of Insurance Intermediaries and Brokers, is expected to bring knowledge of small financial services businesses, the FSA said.
It also recognized that Slack would have "extensive experience" of general insurance as chairman of motor trade brokerage Fyfe Group.
The FSA said Forseke was a leading international investment banker.
